Ryan (CHAMPION & IRISH CHAMPION Gallus Macracker at Kyleca JW ShCM)

5 CCs, 1 RCC and Hips: 5-6

Ryan enjoying a walk along the river beside the historic village of Corbridge in the Tyne Valley.

Our handsome Ryan has permanently left his show days behind and is enjoying a well-earned retirement curled up on the sofa and relaxing at home. Now retired from stud ..... something he had no say in ..... and suitably unimpressed!!

Ryan (Ch/Ir Ch. Gallus Macracker at Kyleca JW ShCM) was very much bought on impulse. Bred by Anne-Marie Paterson, he is by the handsome Ch/Ir Ch Kiltondale McAuley JW (Mac) out of the beautiful late Arranbrae Christmas Cracker at Gallus (Sophie). I visited the litter in Dec 01 with friends Linda and Liz only to fall in love with this handsome and funny boy. Writing the car and nearly myself off in the process on my way to pick him up, this honest and loyal dog has paid us back endlessly with his love and also with his success in the show ring.

Absolutely made up to see him gain his British title with Best of Breed in June 2007 at Three Counties Championship show under breed specialist Kevin Young (Sunkap). We were further delighted to see him gain his 4th CC under Jean Lanning at Blackpool Championship show, also in June 2007. He gained his Irish title in August 2006.

Ryan has done everything and more for us all, what more could we ever ask? We have now made the decision to retire him from the show-ring and he certainly did that in style! Achieving his 5th CC under Liz Jay (Talraz) at the Bearded Collie Club Championship Show on 1st December 2007 following that up with Reserve Best in Show and Best Opposite Sex!

We're going to sit back, watch and support Ryan's progeny in the ring and keep our fingers crossed! Ryan is going to try his paw at a spot of sheep herding, more than likely with a lot to say for himself! Presently enjoying a laid back retirement at work with me where he spends half the day in my boss' office eating digestives!!

Ryan is very proud of his kids who are doing well in the ring, Bestie (Ir Ch. Kiltondale Legend) gained his Irish title in the summer of 2007 whilst Talraz Innovation owned by Alyse, shown by Liz, Ciopar Celtic Chancer owned by Trish, Deanfield Justa Symphony for Motswari owned by Dorothy and Kiltondale Lullabye for Jamchala owned by Jackie have all done their bit, well done!!

Ryan at Blackpool, June 2007 - CC Number 4!!

A lovely day to remember - CC Number 5, Reserve Best in Show and Best Opposite Sex at Bearded Collie Club Championship Show 2007
